Family FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything families ask about using BedHub — how to search, what it costs, how your information is handled, and what happens when you reach out to a Home.
Getting Started
Do I need to create an account to use BedHub?
No. You can search, browse, save Homes, and contact care Homes without creating an account or signing up for anything. BedHub is built to let families look in their own time, without barriers.
How do I search for care Homes?
You can search by city, ZIP code, or state. From there, you can filter and compare Homes based on what matters to you — location, size, care offered, and the kind of environment you're looking for. You're free to explore at your own pace.
Can I save Homes I'm interested in?
Yes. As you browse, you can save Homes you'd like to come back to, so you can compare them later without starting your search over. Saving a Home doesn't notify the Home or share your information with anyone.
What kinds of Homes are listed on BedHub?
BedHub focuses on small residential care Homes — real homes in everyday neighborhoods where caregivers know residents by name and daily life keeps its rhythm. These are often Homes families would never have heard of otherwise, because small Homes rarely have the marketing budgets larger facilities do.
Privacy & Cost
Is BedHub free for families?
Yes. BedHub is completely free for families. You can search, browse, save, and contact care Homes without creating an account or paying anything. Our platform is supported by care home Operators who pay for enhanced Listing features. Families will always have full, free access to the directory.
Will my information be sold or shared?
No. Your information stays private. BedHub never sells or shares your information, and we don't pass your details to Homes unless you choose to contact them yourself.
Does BedHub earn money from which Home I choose?
No. BedHub earns nothing based on which Home you contact. The platform is supported by care home Operators who pay for enhanced Listing features. Our work is simply to bring families and good Homes together — that's it.
Will I get sales calls after I search?
No. BedHub doesn't turn families into leads, and there are no salespeople or middlemen. Any conversation you have with a Home is between you and that Home directly.
Contacting & Choosing Homes
How do I contact a care Home?
On each Listing page, you can send an Inquiry directly to the care Home. Subscribed care Homes also display their phone number, email address, and website. BedHub does not intercept or modify any communications between families and care Homes.
What happens after I contact a Home?
Your Inquiry goes directly to the care Home. BedHub doesn't sit in the middle of, intercept, or modify your conversations. From there, you arrange tours, ask questions, and make decisions directly with the Home.
Can I contact more than one Home?
Yes. Many families reach out to several Homes as they compare options. You decide which Homes to explore and how many to contact — there's no limit and no pressure.
Does BedHub recommend or rank Homes for me?
No. BedHub doesn't push families toward particular Homes or rank them by who pays more. You explore freely and choose what feels right for your loved one. We offer guides and resources to help you decide, but the choice is always yours.
Trust & Support
How is Listing information verified?
Listings are cross-referenced with state licensing databases and managed directly by care home Operators. We conduct regular data quality reviews. Subscribed Operators receive a Verified Home Badge after their Listing information has been reviewed and confirmed by our team.
What does the Verified Home Badge mean?
The Verified Home Badge appears on Listings from Operators whose information has been reviewed and confirmed by our team. Across the directory, Listings are also cross-referenced with state licensing databases and managed directly by Operators, with regular data quality reviews.
What if I'm not sure where to start?
That's common, and it's okay. BedHub has free guides and resourcescovering how to understand care needs, what to ask, and how to choose a Home. If you'd rather speak with someone, you can reach our support team through the Contactpage and we'll help point you in the right direction.
Is BedHub available in my area?
BedHub lists small residential care Homes across the US. The best way to see what's available near you is to search by your city, ZIP code, or state.
