Our Story

Where BedHub began.

An operator's perspective on a problem that never went away: wonderful small care homes families could never find.

Where BedHub Began

There had to be a better way.

BedHub began with an operator's perspective.

After more than 15 years running small residential care homes, our founder Karen Cazemier saw the same thing happening over and over. Beautiful, family-style homes — caregivers who knew residents by name, meals cooked in real kitchens, families supported with patience and grace — and almost no way for the families who needed them to find them. No marketing budgets. No visibility. A family could have a wonderful small residential care home three blocks away and never know it existed.

She also saw what families were going through to search. Referral websites turning families into leads. Sales calls within minutes. Pressure, when what families really needed was room to breathe.

There had to be a better way.

That's where BedHub began. A place where families can take their time, look carefully, and find the kind of care that actually feels like care. A place where small homes finally have a way to be seen by the families looking for them.

What Makes Us Different

This isn't just about finding a bed. It's about finding a home.

01

We've lived this work

We've spent years inside residential care homes, walking beside families through the journey. We know this from both sides — the homes and the families.

02

We've built it on trust

Every home is verified for licensing and accuracy. Families browse and learn at their own pace, and are free to take whatever time they need to find a home that feels right.

03

We put families first

We don't earn anything based on which home a family contacts. Our work is to bring families and good homes together — that's it.

Find a home that feels like home.
